Seeing Alexa's sense of entitlement, Reese's face turned cold. "Even if | could help you, why should I?" She spat.

Alexa's face twisted in anger in return. "Reese, don't think so highly of yourself. You know very well that it's an

honor for you to help me. I'm not unaware that once you help me, my father will give you your mother's letter."

"Lettell you the truth. If you don't helptoday and let Ella and Gerald get married, I'll burn the letter left

acting like a pathetic clown? Do you really think threateningwith burning that letter will get you that

She then said to the servants with a cold face, "Get this person out of my house."

Reese didn't believe Ricardo would be so easy and let Alexa destroy something that could be used to be held

against her.

Reese had searched the study room yesterday but couldn't find the letter. If Alexa

really had it, she wasn't scared anyway. She wasn't scared anymore.

Alexa was extremely angry at Reese's response. "How dare you?!" She exclaimed.

Reese challenged her, "How dare ofindeed." Her voice was steady and unyielding, a stark contrast to Alexa's

emotional outburst.

After speaking, Reese coldly ignored Alexa, taking a peppermint candy from the table that Lukas used to quit

smoking, and putting it in her mouth.

The servant expressionlessly asked Alexa to leave, "Please leave, Miss Alexa."

Alexa couldn't believe it, "Reese, how dare you treatlike this! Do you really not want your mother's letter?"

She shouted.

Reese paid her no attention, and the servant's face turned cold, "If you don't leave, I'm going to call the police!"

Alexa stood still, a flash of malice flashed across her face, the thought of Reese living in such a nice place, her

now married to Lukas and treating her like this, her heart was imbalanced to the extreme.

Alexa stood there motionless, and a wicked idea suddenly appeared in her mind. If Reese's face were disfigured,

would Lukas still let her stay here? Moreover, Lukas didn't seem to care much about Reese. As long as she added

fuel to the fire, maybe she could manipulate him into sending Reese away.

With this thought, Alexa seized the moment when the servant wasn't paying attention and charged directly at

Reese.
